Μ5-Μ6-Μ7-Μ10: Metochi -Mana Nerou- Parthenon- Kamini- Mylos- Masoutis

Circular Hiking Route 10,7 Km:

Metochi of Grigoriou Monastery- Mana Nerou- Parthenon = 4,9 Km,

Parthenon - Kamini=1,5 Km and

Kamini - Mylos - Masoutis = 4,3 Km

The hiking rute M5 starts from the Metochi of  Grigoriou Monastery and heads to Mana Nerou. In the beginning it is a little bit difficult, but then it is easy. You walk  by the stream Mana Nerou and cross the old tank that used to supply water to N. Marmaras until 1950. Along the path you can see the metal water pipes that were discovered after the path was cleaned. Then follows uphill route to the traditional village Parthenon. Returning from the route M6, you meet a place called Kamini where you can enjoy the amazing view to bay of Toroneos, go out to Gionas and take the M7 and then the M10 in the direction of the Mylos Konistis - an old ruined watermill that operated until about 1960. In the end you cross the Mylos Stream to Masoutis.
